Situated in Northamptonshire, the club which was founded in 1966, is run by volunteers and is non-profit making. It is a fully affiliated and registered training centre with the RYA (The Royal Yachting Association). The Club caters for sailors of all abilities, and we are particularly proud of our junior membership and youth squad. In 2012 we were awarded ‘RYA Club of the Year’.
We welcome new members, both those wishing to learn for the first time or more experienced sailors keen to join in our racing programme.
We offer you a quick, easy and safe way to learn to sail or learn powerboat handling skills. Our courses cover all age ranges to help you progress and make the most of the time afloat, whatever your age, ability or aspirations.
We are a recognised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre and the courses are taught by qualified RYA instructors. Our instructors are all club members, volunteers who love teaching sailing or powerboating. This also helps keep our costs down which means we offer some of the best value training available.
Most training is comprised of a series of two-day courses enabling you to progress quickly from beginner to experts in a controlled, safe and enjoyable environment.
Thinking of joining us? We suggest you make a visit to the Sailing Club; have a chat and a look around. See our 'Sailing Programme' for opening times. Contact our Membership Secretary - Ruth Cross, if you have a query.
