NOTES

On receipt of your membership fee a sticker will be issued which must be attached to your craft so that it is visible when the craft is parked. This identifies the craft as registered with the club.

Craft not displaying a current year’s sticker may be impounded at any time during the season.

Unregistered craft may not sail.

Duty Officer and Rescue Boat crew must be over the age of 18, unless qualified.

For family or affiliated categories two members must be available for duty as Assistant Duty Officer, Assistant Boat Officer or Tea Bar as a minimum. If this causes concern please contact either the Membership Secretary or the Duty Co-ordinator. Duties consist of two full days per year. i.e. 2 Sundays or 4 Saturdays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Every effort is made to keep your duties to a minimum but your support is essential to enable the club to function.

It is your responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to do your duty. The club cannot operate without a duty crew. A copy of the Club Rules will be sent to you when you join, and is available in the Clubhouse. It is important to familiarise yourself with these.
